A couple of weeks ago I made some Springerle cookies. My hands were so busy I only took a couple of images.
When I roll out the dough, I use my hands at the end to smooth it out. It really helps to achieve uniformity of thickness. Your tactile response knows better than working through a rolling pin.
This mold is called Watering the Garden. So sweet and is great for ushering in a happy Springtime. Leave the dough a bit thicker for this mold so that you can make a deeper impression and really pick up the watering can and potting plant definition.
